# Release Notes

We are pleased to announce the release of the **Project Template** feature in the Sensorbee Portal. This update enables teams to configure and deploy projects faster, more consistently, and with fewer setup errors—ideal for customers managing multiple or recurring deployments.

This feature was developed to streamline the project setup process.\
With **Project Templates**, users can now preload key project configurations so they can quickly create new projects with standardized settings.<br>

#### **What You Can Pre-Configure**

* **Sensors** – Preselect the sensors that will be used in the project.

This significantly speeds up project creation and ensures consistency across all deployments.

To fully support this feature, several improvements were made across different project tabs and backend processes:

#### **User Interface & Workflow Updates**

* **Updated Project Installation Tab :** Better template compatibility and clearer workflow.
* **Updated Project User Tab :** Supports role presets and organization assignment.
* **Updated Sensor Tab :** Improved handling of preset sensors and configurations.
* **Updated Project Alert Tab :** Enhanced preset threshold functionality.

#### **Template Saving Improvements**

* **Changes to Saving Projects as Templates :** Ensures accurate capture of all preset configurations.
* **Changes to Existing Template Logic :** Refined system behavior for better reliability.

#### **Organization / Company Management**

* **New Component for Managing Project Organizations**
* **Allow Assignment of Organization to Project Users**
* **Backend Support for Organization Management**<br>
